Meow-Ludo

Generalist. Futurist. Transhumanist.

Meow-Ludo is a biohacker passionate about the intersection of biotechnology with other emerging technologies. He created Australia's first open-access molecular biology lab, BioFoundry, which aimed to engage the public by allowing them access to high end molecular biology equipment. Its goal was to democratise science by lowering the financial and technical barriers to a practical education.

He is probably most well known for his court case against the train company over their decision to cancel his card, which he had modified and implanted in his hand. This was widely cited as the world's first cyborg law case and raised questions around bodily sovereignty and the rights of users of technology. He may also be the first and only Trainshumanist in existence.

He has also run for politics at a state and federal level, running on pro-science data driven policies, and also for digital empowerment through the advocacy of technology enabled voting platforms.

He has spoken widely, mainly on topics of regulation, cyborg rights issues, bioweapons, transhumanism, biohacking, and generally around innovating at high speeds at the edge (or surpassing) legislation.
